Environmental geology integrates the\u00a0requirements and\u00a0practices of\u00a0classical geology with\u00a0the\u00a0requirements for\u00a0the\u00a0protection and\u00a0creation of\u00a0the\u00a0environment, especially its\u00a0abiotic component. It is a\u00a0discipline requiring flexibility and\u00a0the\u00a0ability to\u00a0respond to\u00a0new technologies, new knowledge and\u00a0ever-increasing demands from\u00a0our and\u00a0foreign clients, as\u00a0well\u00a0as tightening legislative requirements. It is an\u00a0area that ENVIGEO has focused\u00a0on, in\u00a0the\u00a0long term, in\u00a0terms of\u00a0equipment and\u00a0expertise, and\u00a0in\u00a0which it plans to\u00a0grow and\u00a0profile.<\/p>\n
ENVIGEO has actively and\u00a0proactively participated in\u00a0the\u00a0process of\u00a0creating a\u00a0methodological and\u00a0legislative range for\u00a0addressing the\u00a0issue of\u00a0environmental loadings since\u00a01999, by\u00a0participating in\u00a0expert groups of\u00a0the\u00a0Ministry of\u00a0Environment of\u00a0the\u00a0Slovak Republic, by\u00a0creating methodological manuals and\u00a0standards, as\u00a0well\u00a0as by\u00a0participating in\u00a0key projects to\u00a0address environmental burdens in\u00a0Slovakia, such as the\u00a0“Systematic Identification of\u00a0Environmental Loads in\u00a0Slovakia” in\u00a02006-2008 or the\u00a0subsequent geological tasks of\u00a0surveys and\u00a0remediation of\u00a0environmental burdens financed by\u00a0public funds.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
