ENVIGEO extracts its own deposits of Bentonite in Lieskovec for the needs of its processing plant in Žiar nad Hronom.

Bentonite deposit Lieskovec is located near Zvolenská Slatina village (Central Slovakia). Bentonite from this deposit is particularly suitable for mineral seal and meets the Slovak National Standard STN 83 8106 for sealing of landfills and Government Regulation No. 606/1992 Coll.

INDUSTRIAL MINERALS PROCESSING

ENVIGEO operates modern production plant for industrial minerals processing in Žiar nad Hronom town (50 km from Banská Bystrica town, central Slovakia). The aim of the processing is to improve the utility and quality parameters of minerals and thus to expand the possibilities of their use.

Technology of processing includes

• basic processing of industrial minerals – crushing and drying
• grinding of raw materials with dry screen residue 5% over 250µm
• special micro-grinding with screen residues 5% on screens 63µm, 45µm and 15µm

The resulting products are processed bentonites and ceramic and refractory clays of fineness: 0 – 15 µm, 0 – 45 µm, 0 – 63 µm or 0 – 250 µm. We are able to process also other industrial minerals according to customer’s requirements.
